Siddeshwar Temple

             This temple facing west and assignable to11th century A.D.,has a  garbhagriha,an a antarala,an a navaranga and three mukhamantapas on the three sides of navaranga.. The doorway of the garbhagriha is exquisitely carved. The garbhagriha houses an image called Siddeshwara On either side of the antarala are some loose sculptures. There are the images of Parvati and Shiva in the niches on the exterior wall. Over the antarala doorway are Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. Above the garbhagriha is raised a Dravida shikhara with a sukhanasi projection on its front. The navaranga is supported by polished stone pillars.

BY AIR - The nearest international airport from Haveri  is 330 km away in Bangalore, from where one can take flights for most of the important cities in India.

BY RAIL - Haveri  is connected with most of the metros like Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai through regular trains.

BY ROAD - There is a good network of roads that connects Haveri  to other important cities of the region.
